Pre-Construction services begins with the conceptual design, and continues with generation of estimates in accordance with AACEI guidlines for Cost Estimating.  ProTeam believes in working closely with the team to generate estimates at the various levels of Detail Design, allowing the client to make informed decisions concerning the costs of the project.  Value Engineering is another vital part of this process, ensuring that the best choices are made to support the needs of the facility, and the budget of the client.  
Early involvement of the  Project Controls Team allows schedule development to progress with design development, providing vital information to the owner such as dates owner furnished equipment will be needed, cash flow management, and construction durations to predict when commissioning/start up can begin.   This process then converts to management of the construction schedule as developed by the construction team,  ensuring work is performed in a timely, efficient manner.  Cost control via Earned Value Management is also utilized, adding an additional tool to utilize for the measurement of contractor performance.

  1. Pre-Construction Services
    From Conceptual Estimating to the 100% Detail Design Estimate and buy out of the project, Proteam gives valuable assistance by providing quantity take offs, current pricing following current market trends, assisting the design team with value engineering to ensure that the client gets the best facility for their budget.
  2. Project Set Up/Buy Out
    Project setup and buy out is a continuation of the Pre-Construction Services offered by Proteam. Taking the project from the estimating phase, to the buy out/issuance of subcontractors and purchase orders, to change cost management, are all services that are provided to our clients as needed.
  3. Project Controls
    All aspects of project controls, from Conceptual Schedules to Level 4 Outage Schedules can be produced and updated for your team. Earned Value Metrics can be established and monitored, providing another data point to establish the health of your project. Contractor schedule reviews, and change management are also a part of the services that we offer.
  4. Technical Writing
    From Proposal Development to issuing reports concerning schedule analysis, project health analysis, status of the projects for evaluation by senior management, Proteam has the ability to take the data and produce a valuable report for the team.
